Testimonials

"I’ve been a yoga practitioner for many years, but when COVID hit, my practice all but almost disappeared.  I could not find the motivation or the focus to practice at home.  Although my mental and physical body would not do it, my emotional body yearned for it.  Jennifer has helped me gain that consistency back.  Her understanding and passion for not only asana, but all the philosophies of yoga are woven throughout her class and she explains how they can directly become part of day to day life.  Her sequences are challenging, yet manageable as she provides modifications, which allows you to be curious throughout the postures.  She gives clear instructions and provides verbal cues for nuances within a pose all the while giving gentle reminders to stay connected to your breath.  Jennifer is patient, grounded and inspiring.  She’s helped me return to my yoga practice through these times and to meet myself exactly where I am."

- Janie R.

"I regularly take Jen's virtual yoga classes and have also been honored to have her teach at several of my women's retreat events.  I appreciate the way Jen integrates yoga philosophy and asana practice, helping her students understand how my physical yoga practice mirrors and enhances everyday life.  Jen's classes are challenging, generating Tapas, the heat of self-discipline, burning away those barriers to our personal growth. She balances this intensity with humor, self-acceptance and compassion, inviting students to observe and honor what feels good and true for them today. Jen's yoga classes are really about changing our world from the inside out, finding and warming ourselves in our inner fire."

"Jennifer’s approach to yoga comes from a spiritual mindset paired with a strong physical body awareness for grounding, strength and balance. Jennifer shares her deep knowledge as she guides you through the asanas and makes you feel comfortable at your own level. Your mind opens up through the wisdom she shares and your body gets a great work out in preparation for the final asana, Savasana, rest pose. With Jennifer’s guidance you are inspired to bring the teachings with you off the mat and into your daily life. Simply put, she is an amazing yoga teacher who makes the world better."

- Jenny C.

"Jen is a no-bullshit teacher. Her flows are very well thought through so they can be followed organically, almost effortlessly. Her cues are so clear that even when following a class on line one hardly needs to look at the screen. She gives info on alignment and recommends adjustments that can be intuitively applied and immediately show their benefits. For those looking for a balance between breath work, a challenging physical practice and tying it all together with meditation and the spiritual limbs of yoga... Jen is where you'll find it."

A yoga class/session with Jen is a guaranteed way to feel more calm and centered. Jen’s instruction is always so thoughtfully sequenced. Each class is never the same and she carefully takes you through poses that warm you up and build heat, never just throwing you into something that your mind and body aren’t ready for. Her words are also always spot on: encouraging me to push myself when I need it or allowing me to just flow more gently on days I need to be more kind to myself. She expertly weaves in breathwork and mindful thinking which has really helped me better understand the mind-body connection and the restorative benefits of yoga (and the added benefits of improved mobility, flexibility, and strength are just icing on the cake!). I can honestly say, I did not truly understand yoga until I met Jen. She cares deeply about sharing yoga philosophy with her students/clients and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to feel better both inside and out. Just take a session with her to see for yourself; you won’t regret it!
